International Alert employs over 100 people of 30 nationalities both in our London offices and in the regions where we work. Most are full-time staff, but we also engage consultants, interns and volunteers.
We are looking for a detail-oriented long-term volunteer to work in the unrestricted fundraising department with our fundraising team in London. We are the team responsible for fundraising events, corporate sponsorships, trusts and foundation appeals, community challenges, and major donors. We are a busy but fun group who need an extra set of capable hands to help in the office one day a week.
This volunteer will be based in London and responsible for helping the team research prospective donors, companies and trusts who are appropriate for Alert. They will also help research and coordinate promotional avenues for our events. Other tasks as needed include volunteering at our events, database management and coordinating direct mailing appeals with the fundraising assistant.
This would be an excellent opportunity for a parent returning to the work force who wants to gain recent office experience, or simply to an individual with a bit of time in the week to dedicate to us on a regular basis.
